Background
Founded in 2023, Face of Madi Foundation is a dynamic community-based organization headquartered in Moyo district, with active outreach in Adjumani and Obongi districts. Recognizing the pressing challenges of increasing gender inequality, rising rates of teenage pregnancy, and gaps in effective community governance, our foundation emerged with a clear mission: to advocate for and empower communities to unlock their full potential and achieve holistic wellbeing.
Registered with the Uganda Registration Bureau, Face of Madi Foundation operates with transparency and accountability, upholding the highest standards of integrity in all our endeavors. We are proud to be a member of the Uganda National NGO Forum, collaborating with like-minded organizations to amplify our impact and foster positive change at both the grassroots and national levels.
At Face of Madi Foundation, we believe that every individual, regardless of their background or circumstances, deserves the opportunity to thrive. Through our diverse programs and initiatives, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where communities can access quality education, healthcare, and resources to build sustainable livelihoods. Together, we are working towards a future where poverty is eradicated, gender equality is realized, and communities are empowered to shape their own destiny.

- Promoting gender equality through advocacy and awareness campaigns.

Youth Development and Education
- Enhancing access to quality education and educational resources for children and youth.

Community Health and Wellbeing
- Improving access to essential healthcare services, including maternal and child health, reproductive health, and HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment.
- Conducting health awareness campaigns and educational workshops on nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers, local authorities, and community leaders to address health disparities and promote healthy lifestyles.
- Supporting initiatives that address mental health, substance abuse, and other emerging health challenges within the community.
Governance and Community Engagement
- Strengthening community governance structures and promoting transparency, accountability, and civic participation.
- Building the capacity of local leaders, community-based organizations, and grassroots movements to effectively advocate for their rights and interests.
- Facilitating dialogue and collaboration between community members, local authorities, and other stakeholders to address pressing issues, resolve conflicts, and drive positive change.
